Where Is God?

I just canceled my subscription to our local paper. I'd browse through its pages and feel like there was nothing to read... not one mention of God. The few times Christianity was mentioned in an article, it was invariable misrepresented. Yes, there was the religion section in the paper every Saturday. But that was about religion, not about God.

The question kept coming to mind, how can there be daily news without once mentioning the creator of the universe, and the one who continues to hold it all together. Without mentioning the one from whom all good things come, every day of our lives. The one who provides the food we eat and the very air we breath. And every day He is ignored.

Although the paper was filled with Obama worship, there was never any worship of the true God. There was no point in paying for something that was not worth reading.

But this led me to the question, what has happened to us? How is it that we have removed God from our lives and put Him so far away from us? How is it that we, as a nation, ignore God every day... and expect to get away with it?

Where is God? He is not first in the thoughts and deeds of most Americans. God is here. He has not left us, but we have left God.

Just got a big jolt of reality watching a movie that made me think...

Well here I am on a Friday night wondering where we are going in all this choas around us.. We have faith and what we believe in, our great GOD..... is this our down fall? We are not ashamed.. then why are we looked down on.... it is our faith.. but yet there is condemnation and predjudice in what we believe.... Our own families look down on us .. yet my light will shine.... for what I believe on... Jevohava Jireh....Do we dare given to them ... NO!!!! We willl stand for the word of GOD.... Big GGGGGG.. not little gggg.... Do they even know what that means?.. probably not... but we do... where are we going ?.....do they know? no but we do.... Our rightoeousness is like dirty rags we are only clean through the blood of our Lord Jesus....Son of God. Who died on the cross so that we may be free.... He said tell them " I AM" I wonder how many people really knows what that means.... " I AM" GOD himself in flesh......"Emanuel".. came to earth to save you and me because he loves us... suffered on the cross, bleed and died, rose on the third day and will HE judge the quick and the dead.... am I willing to be quite and keep my mouth shut? NO becuase this little light of mine I'm going to let it shine..... well thats good for me but what about the others in our life we love.. can not save them? well here it is ... In fact, Jesus Himself indicates that the Gospel often divides families. For example, in Matthew 10:34-36 Jesus said: “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law'; and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.” Also, if we understand what the Bible teaches about election, we again come to understand that God elects individuals to salvation and that only those that are elect will be saved (John 6:44-65). This indicates that both election and salvation are not corporate but individual in nature. God elects individuals to salvation (Romans 9:6-18), and those that are elect believe and are saved (Acts 13:48).

Do not be offended because he choose us from the being... he knows who will stand and who will not... We have a duty to our family but we have duty to our Lord and king.... For me and my house we will believe in the Lord... There will come a day to stand.. I will stand on the rock.. what about you?

How can we save the ones we love? Please send me qoutes and scriptures for reference?

God, before the foundation of the world, chose to make certain individuals the objects of His unmerited favor or special grace (Mark 13:20; Ephesians 1:4-5; Revelation 13:8; Revelation 17:8). These individuals from every tribe, tongue and nation were chosen by God for adoption, not because of anything they would do but because of His sovereign will (Romans 9:11-13; Romans 9:16; Romans 10:20; 1 Corinthians 1:27-29; 2 Timothy 1:9). God could have chosen to save all men (He certainly has the power and authority to do so), and He could have chosen to save no one (He is under no obligation to save anyone). He instead chose to save some and leave others to the consequences of their sin (Exodus 33:19; Deuteronomy 7:6-7; Romans 9:10-24; Acts 13:48; 1 Peter 2:8).

God bless and keep you in his mighty hand....
